Pike Place Market Renovation
Renovations to Pike Place Market buildings included in the phase II effort include the Sanitary Market Building, Corner Market Building, Triangle Market Building. Phase III includes Stewart House, Economy Market Building and Soames Dunn Building. The work scope for these buildings includes seismic retrofit using concrete shear walls and steel braced frames, connection of beams and columns with steel brackets and braces, creation of drag struts with existing and new beams tied with steel connectors, cosmetic upgrades to tenant spaces, installation of upgraded electrical distribution serves, enhanced air conditioning and air distribution systems, new fire alarm system and fire sprinkler installation in unserved areas.
